the return

After several years in the Pacific Ocean, the wild salmon in Southwest Alaska are drawn home to complete the natural cycle that has sustained people and ecosystems for generations.

the catch

Our ohana takes part in this miraculous event by making the trek to a remote fishing village where we sustainably harvest wild salmon on a small fishing boat.

the provision

We consider it a privilege to take part in stewarding this resource – one that provides nourishment not only to our own family but yours.

WHY WILD?

raised by nature, not a pen

fish + nothing

Zero pellets, antibiotics, or added dye

the wild diet of krill and plankton gives salmon their vibrant red color but in farmed salmon the color must be added

lean protein

~23g per 3oz serving

wild salmon hunt across expansive ocean waters so fat content is much lower than the sedentary farmed salmon

healthy omega 3s

~1000mg per 3oz serving

wild salmon avoids inflammation caused by high omega 6s in farmed salmon (ratio of omega 3s to 6s in wild salmon is 15:1 vs 3:1 for farmed)
